"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is beautiful right on the lake. It’s absolutely beautiful. However, the rooms left a lot to be desired. The room was outdated. Didn’t have one hook in the bathroom to hang anything on no sink area or vanity for you to get ready in the bathroom. It had a weird sliding door that didn’t have an actual door knob or handle. It was like a piece of metal that ran odd and if you shut it all the way it would catch, and you would be locked in...

"The bathroom had damages. The walls were scratched and had holes in the paint. The shower floor was very slippery and I was afraid I was going to fall. The bathroom floor was also slippery when wet. The step into the room from the outside was too high and I actually fell, which required the fire service to come and help me get up."

"The rooms are updated, cute and very comfortable. I loved the soft linens and bedding! If you like to walk, this location is great for a beautiful stroll to town for meals and shopping. (I recommend that you take E Front Ave. behind the property, to stay off of the busy road.) "The motel is older, but it has been updated and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived the front desk person was exceptional and made sure throughout our stay that we had everything we needed. The motel was easy walking distance to the restaurants, the shopping district, parks, and the boardwalk. We had an exceptional stay at the Flamingo."
