"Well cared for hotel, convenient to Ann Arbor and only 30 mins from Detroit. The suite was large, clean and comfortable. Very nice kitchen area. Breakfast had a good variety and the food area was very clean."

"The worst DoubleTree hotel. It is more likely an Inn. Stayed there for two nights during the weekend. The bar wasn't even open. No room service at the evening shift. They didn't provide blankets for the pullout sofa bed. Hotel carpet was dirty."

"I loved the hotel nice and clean staff were very helpful as well. The game room didn’t have the equipment to play pool or the other games. The pool room hurt my eyes too much chlorine. I enjoyed the gazebo and the outside sitting areas as well. I would go back!"

"I liked the staff and their customer service. The valet parking arrangement is a bit overpriced and overdone. First you have to sign in to a link to pay and then the 3rd party charges a service fee and then they add a request for a tip. Too expensive and cumbersome."

The valet parking was so convenient and easy to pay for via a link sent to my phone- it made it easy and I didn't even have to download or sign up for anything. "Excellent staff but the place was very run down. Smelled like a dog when we walked in and our room smelled like old cooking grease. No shampoo in the bathroom. Dressers and furniture were really beat up. I get that it is not a luxury hotel, but for $250/ night (graduation weekend price gouging), it was hard to swallow. Not gonna extend my stay here."
