"Specific unit required serious maintenance and upkeep. Cold showers. Three codes required to enter the building. Elevator was loud and concerning. Carpet was sticky and gross to walk around barefoot. Sixth floor unit windows were closed and so poor that you could hear conversations happening at Street level. Right above a bus stop, cars honking, people exiting bars yelling, Barely slept with two nights. Never write bad reviews, but felt compelled because the experience was so bad."

"Great location, clean but hardly any heat. Upon arrival, the space heater provided in one of the bedrooms showed the temperature at 52 degrees and it barely went over 60 degrees during our stay. We contacted the property manager who said it was out of thier control and the owner controlled it, as there was no thermostat in the unit. "Amenities were lacking in many ways…lacked suitable pans for cooking and basics like salt and pepper. Bedrooms were cold due to drafts around windows with air conditioners and a drafty door. "Our stay was wonderful The rooms were spotless. I would highly recommend the place. The only issue was a glitch trying to get in to the place. We called tech support and they provided the phone number to the owner, she called us after a bit and was very apologetic about the mix-up with the entrance to the VRBO. It had all the comforts of home."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rachel’s beautiful home, which was not only incredibly charming and clean, but also perfectly located in walking distance to restaurants and shops in Marblehead’s old town. It happened to snow the first night of our stay, and we were pleased to see that she made sure her outdoor porch and steps had been promptly shoveled and salted. I would highly recommend Rachel’s place to anyone visiting Marblehead! "
