Coffee had absolutely no cream available. Rolls were only one store wrapped cinnamon roll. This wasn't because early risers emptied the tray. They were not stocked. First floor window screens looked shabby and loose."

"Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned. The curtains would be nice on the windows if they curved around the outer edge so no light comes in during the night. Shower head was too low but had great pressure and the curtain needs to be longer to keep the water from getting out of the tub. The help was very helpful."

"I think the smoking area should be moved from by the front entrance. It would be a much better experience waiting for the trolley etc if you did not have to breath the smoke. I believe this would make your front entrance much more welcoming. Also, I think grab bars in the shower would be very helpful to most of your guests. Our room did not have a grab bar."

"The staff at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and Roughlock Falls Restaurant never tried to charge me a fee to use my Visa DEBIT card! The restaurant Cheyenne Crossing did try and charge me a fee to use my debit card, which is a federal offense. Different rules apply to charge card vs. debit cards. Thank you to Spearfish Canyon Lodge! A classy comforting experience!"
