Very comfortable place to stay in a charming town. Great place to use as a base when visiting the Black Hills. Kitchenette type features with dishes was a bonus.

The operators of the Inn are revitalizing the property. My room was clean and has been remodeled not very long ago. Mike was very helpful when I didn't receive the email for the door code as soon as I had expected. I was out of service most of the day, enjoying the Black Hills. I would stay at this property again!

This was a clean, well maintained place to stay. It had the feel of the country in the middle of the city. The staff was extremely helpful. When they saw me struggling up the stairs with my suitcase the owner stopped to help me. In the morning as I was struggling down the stairs the housekeeper offered to help me! Comfortable and had everything you needed. I would definitely stay again.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Inn at Spearfish Creek, which was perfectly situated for exploring the town. The location couldn't have been better. Just a short walk from local shops, breweries, and interesting attractions. It made our trip so much more enjoyable not having to worry about transportation. The accommodations were surprisingly affordable considering the prime location. We found the amenities to be top-notch, from comfortable rooms to friendly staff who were always ready to help. Overall, we had a good experience. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the great value we received. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a lovely stay without breaking the bank!

Cute, one room air bnb style, dog friendly place. Even though it's an older motel, there was zero old motel smell. The furniture & decor felt homey & not like a generic hotel room. Floors without carpet felt clean; unlike carpet in a hotel room that hides who know what! I loved that Spearfish Creek was just behind the hotel & the beautiful Lions Park had a nice walking trail. Less than a block away, there was another park that followed the creek. It's close to the Black Hills State University & the neighborhood felt very safe. The front window could use a blackout curtain as the exterior lights stay on all night & the blinds don't cut the light that well. Over all, a very pleasant 2 night stay! Thanks, Mike!

I booked a room online through hotels.Com. When u got too the hotel I was told that I did not have s room because they were overbooked! No refund yet.

My arrival was complicated because I did not receive the information about my room assignment and the code to get in. There was no office on site. Fortunately, another resident helped me and then someone arrived who worked on the property. I did connect with Mike and and got the information I needed. The start was complicated. However, the room was delightful – clean charming. I would give it high marks. My only comment other than what happened at arrival is that I only got tepid water for a shower. It would’ve been nice to have creamer envelopes available for the coffee. But those are little things. The room itself was clean, charming pleasant. I would choose it again now that I know how to get into the room.
