"We enjoyed our stay. We wanted a quiet, peaceful, relaxing time; and that was what we had. We loved sitting on the porch watching the river flow past and enjoyed watching the barges. The breakfast was amazing. It was great food and such a large amount that the 2nd morning we shared one breakfast and was still full."

Our previous rental cancelled on us 2 days before we were supposed to check in and this property was shockingly available and could sleep all our invited guests. And it was absolutely perfect! "The property was easy to find and very convenient to retail and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities ( towels, shampoo, coffee, etc) were nice quality. Super quiet. Host was available and friendly. Highly recommend. Much better choice than nearby hotels."

"We couldn’t have been more happy with this place. From the minute we walked in, we felt at home. Very clean in all areas. Great shower, very comfortable beds and living room furniture. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from the welcome basket to a “just in case you forgot something” basket. Hated the weather didn’t cooperate where we could enjoy the decks and fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. "

"Where do we start.. What an amazing place to get away. The house is beautiful and well stocked definitely everything you need just bring your food. The property is beautiful and so quiet. "This was our second stay at this home mostly do to the fact its close to other family, accepts pets, and has a private larger yard. We also like the old historical nature of the home. I mentioned on my previous review of the home needing some TLC. The home is still the same, no fixes that we can see from two years ago. "Had a wonderful visit in Huntington. The place is a short drive away from most things in town. Clean, cozy apartment type place. Even being near a hospital it was quiet. Place has everything you would need. And it was nice to see the host even included some toiletries such as sealed toothbrushes with toothpaste. And the little welcome package with crackers, pop corn, rice crispy treat and bottled water was also a nice touch. And greatly appreciated after driving for a couple hours. "

"Nice home very clean. Great location. Very quiet. Couldn't get the volume on TV in master to work.The grill caught fire when we tried to use it. We quickly put it out. Just needed cleaned. Would stay again for sure."
