"Really enjoyed my stay at the Clayton Hotel in Amsterdam. The building is beautiful, full of character, and the location is absolutely spot on! everything you could want is just a short walk (or tram ride) away. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which set the tone for a great stay. The room was large, clean and really comfortable! and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout, a real standout. A couple of things worth mentioning: the Chromecast in the room...

"This is a small, unique hotel in the Museum District of Amsterdam. It has five floors and a tiny elevator. The hotel comprises two different buildings which are not on the same level so when you go up you must go down again if your room is in the second building. The stairs have extremely small footspace and are covered in a geometric pattern of bright colors. We found the stairs very awkward and difficult. "Everything was perfect about the Banks Mansion. The rooms are cozy, but that’s normal for many European cities. The staff were amazing, so helpful and pleasant. The hotel is so clean. Love the open bar where you could meet up with other travelers and share the days adventures. We would definitely book this hotel again."
