"First of all, the rooms are shockingly small....so much so that there was almost no space on one side of the bed. I tried to get down in the middle of a night and my ankle got bruised by the sharp edge of the bed. Second, the staff were simply rude and unhelpful initially. On one of the evenings, we decided to hang out with our friends in the lounge room and they didn't have all of the lights on. So, when we asked them to turn them on and they said we had to buy something from the bar before...

"It was one of the best stays, the rooms are designed to looked a bit unusual, yet well thought out. Property was very well maintained and the staff was super kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, every single day. It is in close proximity to the train and bus station.
I do support the eco friendly initiatives of this hotel however, this is where the only slight negative comes in. The rooms were hot in the night since there was no AC (25-26 degree weather), but the staff quickly resolved...

"Breakfast was superb. Property exceptionally clean but communication from staff poor. We were not told about the local travel cards until we read about these locally. The lounge area is completely locked up before 9pm so there are no communal areas after then. Not sure if any staff remain in the premises overnight?"

"The location was great for us - close to the train station (walking distance) and the bus that takes you to the touristy Old Town. We had our 7yr kiddo with us so the 15-20 min walk to the Old Town every night was out of the question - easy to get an Uber or taxi as well. It is under construction right now so there is dust around, FYI. There is a mall right across the street which was very convenient. When we checked in, the gentleman who helped us was great - very polite and professional....

"If you are staying for 2 days it’s probably a 4/5 but when staying for 4 days the breakfast is okay (low selection) the room doesn’t get restocked (no replacement cups) and in general the staff are moderately helpful. We weren’t offered transit passes when we first arrived only found out about the, later. The pillows are terrible (crushed foam) and bed sheets are okay. The bathroom is very small and the door didn’t close very well ( had to pull shut).
In general if you were staying for 1-2...

"The hotel was very clean and spotless, off road parking was available which was very important for our group. The place itself is run/managed by nice people who made us feel very welcome, they were quite a cheerful bunch and all seemed happy to to working there which makes for a great atmosphere. The restaurant also served great food. We were on a motorcycle tour and unfortunately it poured with rain all the time do restricted our movement, staying at such a good hotel made all the difference."

"Hotel ist sehr schön und vor allem zentrumsnah, ca. 15 min. Zu Fuß in die Altstadt, direkt gegenüber des Hotels an der Salzach entlang.Glücklicherweise hab ich keinen Parkplatz gebraucht, da ich am Tagungsort geparkt habe. 20€ pro Tag im Außenbereich, 25€ in der Tiefgarage. Schlecht sind die Personenstürme beim Frühstück, da immer Busse da sind, die dann alle gleichzeitig zum Frühstück geben. Da ist es schwer, einen Platz zu finden und in Ruhe zu frühstücken. Leider wurde auch an einem Tag unser...
