"The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Gym was nice for a hotel gym. Dining was a few minutes walk from the hotel with multiple options. The breakfast was great was well. Only complaint was that the spa was extra cost, and not worth the money. The cold plunge was completely drained and the two hot tubs began draining while we were in them. The sauna was amazing though! We overall recommend this property!"

"Staff went out of their way to greet us and wake us up to ensure that we saw the northern lights at 11:30 PM. Property was clean, breakfast was delicious and filling for a European B&B. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in this area."

"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend groß. Nur einen Kleiderschrank haben wir auch dieses Mal vermisst. Das Personal ist sehr nett, schön ist auch, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, im Hotel für isländische Verhältnisse zu einem angemessenen Preis sehr lecker zu essen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und die Lage ist für Ausflüge sehr gut. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder. "
