"The rooms were nice smelling and clean, and the breakfast was great. We loved the hot tub too. No complaints about our stay."

"The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "

"This was the most magical place I’ve ever stayed, in the middle of horse country, so peaceful and beautiful. The host Ragnar is so hospitable, kind, personable and funny. There are horses on property and they are lovely! There’s also a sweet cat, hot tub, coffee and tea for guests. This was such an amazing experience, recommend to anyone and I hope to be back! "Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"Very basic hostel style setup. No extra amenities. Shared bathrooms which are generally clean. Hard to find someone to help if you have issues. Lonely location with nothing nearby. Breakfast is included and it's basic stuff but welcome nevertheless."

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "What a lovely place to stay! The hotel is situated right above the river, with hills behind for a beautiful view. There is geothermal activity all around the property, including a vent right on the property where they will cook you an egg if you want! Two hot tubs, a little pool and a sauna complete the experience. Rooms were clean and comfortable. To be honest, it's where we slept to prepare for the next day's adventure. A tasty restaurant on site with a delicious breakfast every morning....

"This is a beautiful hotel the main floor and café your area are full of plants, a nice café with pleasant staff working there and even a little shopping. The rooms are good size and comfortable, but a little dated. That wouldn’t stop me from staying here. I also found the stuff to be very helpful when I needed to change a night there was no questioning.
