"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. "This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. "The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."

"We had an amazing 2 nights in yurt Freya. Rick was a thoughtful and friendly host who really made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed.
