"I am not one to leave negative reviews leaving this here until I get a refund I was denied. Staff was nice and friendly. Called and was told Pool and HOT TUB were working Came in late went to pool Hot tub was not operational asked a staff member they said had been out of commission for quite awhile We picked this hotel for distance from the air port and specifically because it had a hot tub. Exposed ripped out sheetrock over the hot tub with exposed beam with what appears to be BLACK MOLD....

"The staff was AMAZING! Definitely eat at The Piper, breakfast was great! Loved the location and the room was very comfortable! The best thing though was how nice and helpful every staff member was anytime we had questions!! Loved the stay it was perfect and we can’t wait to visit Alaska again! Thanks for a wonderful visit!! "Hidden Resort Fee not informed before booking. Amenities supposedly from the Resort Fee are less straightforward to materialized. eg. $10 credit for meal was reneged because it wasn’t clear if the waitress was supposed to take it and deduct it from bill. In my case she didn’t. When I checked out the Front Desk refused to re-imburse. The Breakfast included voucher for a fee specified for ala cart, but actually it was for buffet. Bellman not around when you needed him to get your stored...

"The room smelt like urine and the cleaner used to clean up dog pee stains, at least I hope it was dog pee. The rooms over looked borders homes with piles of garbage. The bathroom had a barn door right next to the bed and you could see a person on the toilet from all of the beds. Terrible hotel, I have stayed in motel 6’s that were better, way overpriced not worth it."

"We loved everything! Pleasant helpful staff, beautiful full breakfast every morning until 9:30 M-F and breakfast until 10:30am Sat and Sun. Nice large laundry FREE for guests FYI Walmart is literally across the small road to buy trail size laundry soap. The front desk does offer laundry soap to buy but Walmart has it for only $1.17 a load when you go to the travel size section in Walmart. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast for few days in a row had the same egg with cheese...
