"My friend and I stayed at the French market in for three nights. This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They helped us with figuring out the public transportation system and the hospitality! They also are very accommodating. "The staff was wonderful! Our room (520) was a little spooky - felt something stroking my foot in the middle of the night (on the underside - so almost like it was inside of the bed) and then pressure on the bed like someone was standing next to me (you know how the pressue of body weight will make a bed 'sink'). "The Hotel was good, you could hear noise from the street but it’s in the heart of New Orleans so no big deal. What set this hotel apart was the staff. Cynthia was AMAZING! We had a speedy check in and she took great care of us when we were running late for an excursion. My review was only as high as it was because of her, great people make all the difference!"

"We loved our stay here! We stayed in the La Sirena suite which is at the very top of the building. Below I list some 'cons' but they weren't really cons - more of considerations for those who might be sensitive to certain factors. Pros: - Excellent location - relatively chill block but close to so much. - R Bar on the ground floor is a great no frills neighborhood bar with mix of locals and tourists. Lively but not overly crowded, superb staff, and old school movies playing on the big screen....
