"In a word - Perfection. Everything about our stay was outstanding. Alessandro was there anytime we had a question, both before we arrived and during our stay. The views are more stunning than the photographs. The villa itself was everything that we needed and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was equipped and allowed us to make a wonderful dinner, using local ingredients from the Thursday market in addition to being able to prepare our breakfasts each morning. "The reception was extremely helpful with all our queries even before we got to the property and really helped make sure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment came with amazing views and the basic necessities. The pool was a very nice size and kept clean for us to enjoy. We also booked a horse riding lesson which was with a great instructor and I’d highly recommend a ride if you have the time. Thanks for the hospitality! "

"Die Ferienwohnung liegt traumhaft in der Toskana. Eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit großer Küche. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Rita empfangen und sehr netter Austausch check/ in check/ aus. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool genossen, welcher echt groß war. Es sind Liegen da, wo man entspannen kann. Und Rita hatte Schwimmringe für die Kids. Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Danke für die schöne zeit!"

"Wow! Even better than the photos. The house is very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. Alessandro was the perfect host and was very welcoming. We spent most days in the pool and evenings sitting on the patio area watching the wildlife. It was the perfect base to explore the beautiful countryside and towns. I only wish our stay had been longer and I really hope we can return. "

"This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning. "

"We loved our villa! The rooms were comfortable- clean and great beds, linens. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to use. The pool was cold, but the grandkids loved it, swimming 2x/day! The location was great. We could get to other hilltop towns and Volterra was closely. Gabriele is AMAZING! She is cheerful, helpful, and replies quickly to concerns. Plus, a kitty visited us daily."

"We had an amazing time at this gorgeous villa! This was by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The beautiful location was perfect for all our day trips to the many medieval towns and area activities. The host Barbara was incredible and prepared delicious dinners and breakfasts for us on the terrace overlooking breathtaking views of San Gimignano. The meals were prepared with fresh ingredients from their own crops and better than any restaurants...

"Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen. Hier kann man wortwörtlich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir würden mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn wir könnten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist wahnsinnig liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Dazu ist der Pool mit der Aussicht einfach das I-Tüpfelchen oben drauf. Auch ist Marilia eine wahnsinnig zu vorkommende Persönlichkeit. Wir haben uns durch ihre liebevolle Art und Weise gleich wohl gefühlt. Auch hat sie sich Zeit genommen...

"Wir hatten ein zweistöckiges Familienappartment mit drei Duschbädern, Küche, Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmern...sehr komfortabel. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber nicht störend. Tolle Poolanlage. Frühstück für deutsche Verhältnisse okay. Das Personal überaus freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kritikpunkt: auf der Terrasse gab es keine Sonnenschirme, was es uns leider unmöglich machte, dort auch mal etwas Zeit zu verbringen. "
