"The welcome on arrival was both warm and helpful and during our stay any questions we had were handled helpfully and professionally. The standard room was clean and comfortable and the limited space well used. Next time I will probably book a comfort room. We did not eat at the hotel other than lunch for which there was a menu with plenty of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful. "The hotel is in a good location & the room was quiet & comfortable. I was initially concerned as the Christmas market was opposite the hotel but I didn't hear a thing."

"Everything was great. It's nice and quiet with only the lovely church bells. The food was great, coffee cups a bit small. But the daily bread was fantastic and the bacon premium smoked."

"Good hotel in walking distance (15 min) to city center. The website is a bit unclear but there is no reception so you call when you are at the hotel and they remotely let you in. Which works fine. The room is fine although you do hear the neighbors answering be you clearly. But all in all a good choice and decent price/quality. "

"Besonders gefallen hat mir der saubere Zustand meines großen comfort-Zimmers, die Existenz einer großen Badewanne sowie die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals. Außerdem ist der Fitnessraum ausgezeichnet ausgestattet fürs Krafttraining. Einzige Kritik an diesem Kraftraum: die zahlreichen und hochwertigen kabeltürme sind nutzlos ohne die entsprechenden Einhand-Griffe. Die Hotel Bar war tadellos."

"Fun travel themed hotel with everything you need. Was quiet when we stayed (winter) but they warn it can get noisy with the bars around the hotel in season. Windows have hard shutters with acoustic foam on to counter this, plus ensure a good blackout! Would go back - better than other hotels I’ve stayed at in Groningen. "

"The hotel is in good location at walking distance of city center and train station. It has good facilities ( maybe a safety box would be great and electricity connections at bedside table). Otherwise, the bed, pillows and furniture make the room very comfortable. And you have coffee and tea for free at the lobby. It was a very nice stay "
