"Great breakfast, very friendly staff, very clean room. The only 2 things I would say that could improve: there was no flat sheet, and being summer time, the room was warm and too hot to sleep with the duvet, so a flat sheet was needed. The room could use some updating, toilet flush only worked after pressing several times. The window was really old and hard to open and close. Good pillows, good towels. And again, the best staff. Slightly pricey for the room you get. "

"The hotel and staff are amazing. A little quaint at first but that definitely grows on you. Tony the pianist was fantastic and played almost 5 hours solid with just a very short break. Reception area for check in/out is very odd like you are not sure you're doing things right. Breakfast was a major disappointment - the full Scottish was stingy in portion size (half a slice of bacon, skinny sausage and dry potato scone) and the guacamole for eggs benedict seemed shop bought.
