"It’s essentially a motel and you get exactly what you pay for. It’s well situated in the city. I stayed on one of those weeks where there was a convention and my usual hotels are ridiculously expensive, Symphony was exactly what the doctor ordered. On a weekend with overpriced hotel rooms I would stay here again. Clean. Safe. Affordable all the time."

"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. "I was disappointed with my stay. The alarm clock in the room was already set and went off unexpectedly in the morning, even though I never touched it. Parking was an additional $90, which felt excessive. I also paid extra for a room with a view, but the view was very disappointing and not what I expected. "I loved my stay, the staff was super helpful (cleaning staff.) It was a decently sized room with a bay window and such a cute aesthetic. I was able to reach out to customer service easily, and had very few issues. The proximity to Dolores park and being able to uber everywhere was also a plus. Only downside is the drug abuse happening on the street but that’s pretty much every downtown."

"This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The linens and pillows were divine, the room and lobby stylish, and the staff were always so friendly and kind. The whole hotel smelled so good and was spotless. The coffee from the little coffee shop on the first floor was pretty good! Appreciated the shuttle to the convention center (was here for a work conference). Would highly recommend and would stay again!"
