"We had an amazing stay at KOKO Hotel Residence Asakusa Tawaramachi. The room was pristine and very well organized. We were lucky to have a view of the SkyTree from our room which looked amazing at night. Walking distance to 711 and Ginza line, and a short taxi from Keisei Ueno, was super convenient. Really there’s nothing to even nitpick here."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. To start with the service, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities were appreciated and the coffee machine makes some delicious coffee. The room was clean (a few skid marks on the walls from suitcases), but the bed was a little hard. We had a lovely view of the street. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with so many options to choose from, my 8 year old picky eater had a lot of options to fuel each day. This is also a very convenient...

"If you want to stay in a Ryokan, I'd highly recommend this one. Gorgeous Japan Western rooms, with low beds and an onsen upstairs for guests. Very central to Asakusa station and the Senso-Ji pagoda. Lots of restaurants too and a new Don Quixote! Had a lovely time here, wish I'd booked longer."

"Crazy good value. Place is brand new. Everything is incredibly clean. Shower is amazing. The room was massive. Great AC. All the appliances are new. Will absolutely stay here again. Not removing a star for this, but the keypad entry thing for the elevator is annoying - it's like the one thing they cheaped out on during the remodel and it makes no sense given the quality of everything else."

"An absolutely great spot to explore the city. It’s a few blocks off a Main Street and close to the train and bus lines. It’s close to several amazing temples and shrines, with numerous hidden gems all around. The staff speaks English far better than my Japanese, and anything beyond that was covered with translation apps or simply pointing. Clean, kind and cornered near some of the best things Tokyo has to offer."
