"The Lodge at Lake Tahoe is an easy walk to a variety of good dining and shopping options, including Target and the the numerous shops and restaurants of Heavenly Village. It's also walking distance to the hideous casinos of Stateline, Nevada, if you're into those places. While the hotel is nice, it's on a very busy street (Pioneer Trail), and the traffic noise kept us awake at night due to our room being the closest to the street. In the future, I would request a room further from the street."

"Overall the location was good and the staff members were very pleasant. Initially we couldn't get into our room; keycards clicked but door wouldn't open. We called for help and after 10 minutes made a 2nd call. Someone from the front desk came but couldn't get the door open either. Maintenance finally arrived and got it open. We had to call again to get hand towels and washcloths, which were promptly delivered. The room was fine, although dated and the screen door came off the track when opened....

"La casa estaba muy linda, limpia , la propiedad hermosa, lo único que el Baño estaba abajo al lado de la habitación principal y la habitación de arriba no tenía baño, había que bajar al baño, faltaría un baño arriba, ya que la cocina y habitación están arriba. Pero excelente ubicación , cerca del lago, caminando llegas perfecto, solo dos cuadras. Muy limpio todo. Tenía bbq enfrente del lago eso es excelente.Otra cosa que recommendaria ponerle un password para la puerta mas facil, el codigo era...

"Great hotel right on Lake Tahoe. They have their own private beach which is nice. I would definitely stay there again. Location is great, near restaurants and grocery stores."

"Had beach toys, quiet, 2 steps from beach so made easy with a toddler . Plates for toddler , tent for wind, literally everything. I have never seen a rental with so many things and across the street is Grocery store . Best ever "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the fact that it has 2 bathrooms, the balcony, washer and dryer. The jacuzzi area. We had a great time. "

"Much of South Lake Tahoe is noisy and congested. Fireside is located on the edge of the Camp Richardson forested region, perfect hiking distance from Pope Beach. They provide guests with complimentary bikes in the warmer months and snowshoes when the drifts kick in. "The property was well maintained. The cabin was very quaint and fit a very full family. The places was clean and very accommodating. The overall stay was fun and peaceful."
