"Nice little B&B within walking distance to the city centre.
This was a convenient location with onsite parking available.
The room was spacious and comfortable for the most part although our bed was very creaky so maybe the mattress or base needs replacing.
Shower was excellent and the breakfast was good, recommended!"

"This was a superb stay due to a family feel and exceptional, caring staff.
Everything was lovely, except the fact that we were in the old part of the hotel which is not very suited to extreme heat in the summer. Fans were provided but to little avail., it was roasting, even with door open at night.
The room itsel was old fashioned but spacious and nice, good beds, good shower, lovely breakfast in the morning. Hotel is a short walk from everywhere, lots of food options in the vicinity. Nearby ...

"Loved the pub and Simon was super helpful. Best nights sleep ever in the best bed with lovely soft pillows. Food very good, especially breakfast (full Yorkshire breakfast) overall such great find. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly and lovely atmosphere."

"Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !
The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive.
Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave ."

"I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! "
