I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

"Room had high pitched sound coming from the room heater - reported when leaving. Staff were great, breakfast not fantastic "

"Toilet hadn’t been flushed from previous guest. Shower had great temp, though not great pressure. WiFi only worked in one room. Couldn’t figure out how to work the electric hob, rest of kitchen was good. Only one towel provided for two guests. Beds were comfy. "

"Yes it was terrible. On arrival, they changed our room several times. There was no heating and no warm water. we complained to the management and was told we would get a refund but nothing was done. We didn't go the 2nd night and we still didn't get anything. Reported to expedia, was told they would look into it but it's been weeks now and no feedback. "Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations."

"The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "

"This is was a very good hotel in a great location. The staff were fabulous and very helpful. It was a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. I would definitely stay there again. Half price parking was great. We ate at the hotel a couple of times and the soup was delicious. "
