"Nice place. The two bedroom suite had two bathrooms, three tvs, and four beds. This place had plenty of room! The in suite washer dryer combo (with included detergent) was extremely handy. Staff was nice and couldn’t have had a roomier stay."

"I will rate this hotel as 4.5 stars rather than perfect 5 stars. The minor complaints are the breakfast and the location. The Japanese breakfast here is not as flavorful as the one I have in Tokyo (another 5 stars hotel). The location is far away from high end shopping malls and the surrounding area looks like a very average neighborhood."

"Fantastic venue with a great vibe and well furnished/kitted social space. The free tea, coffee and pastries (and breads) were above our expectations and helped to set us up well for our days out in the city. The range of board games and books was also a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and polite from our arrival and were always willing to help. The room had a good range of amenities and very enjoyable shower. We did find the space in the room a little limited and the pillows were too...

"This hotel was beautiful. The room was luxurious and the staff was great. I lost my wallet in Arashiyama and they called the local areas I visited several times to help me find it. Will return on our hopeful trip back to Japan! We loved it here! "

"The property itself felt a little less hip and young than places we typically stay, but it was such a comfortable stay. The bed & soaking tub was a dream, the location and staff top notch. We really enjoyed our stay. "
