"We only stayed one night here, but it is handy to some of the best places to see in West Cornwall and also is a two-minute drive from a beautiful beach. Our apartment was basic, no-frills but clean and perfectly adequate for a family spending most of its time outside. Actually, even if we'd stayed in, the place would have been fine for hanging out. It also has laundry facilities downstairs."

"The owners are so friendly and helpful and want you to have a special stay, they enjoy what they do. The breakfast was fantastic in choice and quality and quantity. Our room ( room 1) was very spacious, comfortable, with amazing bathroom,( needed after camping) and I would stay again. It is very rural, so good 15 minutes drive to get an evening meal , which you should book. Lots of parking. We’d stay again"

"We had a wonderful few nights in a yurt at the end of July. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we found the space to be more than comfortable and spacious. The yurt itself was wonderfully furnished and the kitchen outside well equipped for all cooking needs. Hosts Kate and Terry were always friendly, approachable and on hand to help. "Great stay in a room 11 which was more like a little separate home. Food quality was good and staff were nice. While overall cleanliness was decent, we had hairs in shower and over our toilet and my parent had some mess in their bathroom too. Really liked the branded ‘newspapers’ with the property details and its history, as well as the separate lounge downstairs."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. However my main concern was the lack of air conditioning on the top floor. Unfortunately it seems to be the lot of the solo traveller that you get stuck on the top floor ( I have had this in other hotels) where it is usually hot and stuffy. Too much noise on the road outside ( boy racers and revellers) to keep the windows open. Shame because otherwise I liked the hotel."
