"Lovely stay. Room very comfortable. Staff lovely. Only gripe we had was the 12.5% service charge that was added to our restaurant bill. We asked for it to be taken off and it was. However the system of adding a service charge automatically is one of my pet hates. It added over £6 to our bill. Had it not been added with the assumption we would pay it we would have left a tip. Awful practice."

"I picked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and it seemed close to the Co Op Arena as I was attending a concert there. The member of staff who checked me in was so lovely and she accommodated my request for a quiet room as I’m a light sleeper. She put me on the top floor in the corner and it was very quiet. "Room quite dark due to navy walls but modern. TV in very awkward place to watch. Noise from nearby clubs/bars but luckily we could close doors/window as the hotel had thoughtfully put a fan in the room (weather very hot -28 - 30 degrees). "Booked this hotel for an event in Manchester. Great location in a quiet part and stunning surroundings. The Belmore is a beautiful building. Arrived with a smooth check in. Directed to our room. "From arrival the parking was very easy and convenient. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the rooms very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a drink in the bar (shame the pool table was out of service but a minor problem!) and breakfast had a great range to choose from. I had a enquiry and Zee at the reception was very helpful. A very comfortable stay and we will hopefully be back next time we come to Manchester. "
