"What a brilliant pub/hotel! Will stay again. Such a lovely hotel with views by the river. Room was spacious, lots of interesting pictures, wonderful food and very polite, helpful staff. Convenient parking. Loved the spiral staircase with over hanging wisteria!"

For breakfast the selection of fresh fruits and Jams were excellent, however the hot foot was topped in no particular order and a bit of waiting around for the full selection to be available."

"Simon was a very polite host but we had a few issues with our stay. The apartment is near a nightclub and on one night had to pass our way through the crowd to enter. It wasn't just the noise from the nightclub but also pigeons in /behind the bedroom wall which made it very hard to sleep. We told Simon who kindly offered us another room but at that point we'd decided to leave early. Whilst the place was clean and tidy it had poor shower pressure, limited storage and a faulty TV. "Great location. Cute little was helpful after a long day of travelling we just wanted to stay in. Super old hotel With lots of creaks and the lift was out of service for my mum but we made due. Location is very close to high street and Exeter cathedral"

"Could not speak to anyone who could understand English! My job finished a day early so I wanted to check out a day early and get a refund but I was passed from one person to another and could not even speak to a manager as they were not on site most of the time! I would not go there again!"
