"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

It has an old world feel like it has been around for a long time but also updated and good value if you don't come peak seasons like graduation time or the holidays. Super convenient and walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The Lindt chocolate shop is literally in the same building on the ground level and at check in the hotel puts a small bag of 6 chocolate truffles on your pillow, that is like 5$ worth of chocolates as a bonus gift to...

"All the staff were amazing from the Front desk to the doorman. Didn’t see housekeeping at all during my weekend stay and so wish they’d made the room at least once. Restaurant could’ve repaired their coffee machine and the hotel would benefit from a little store for snacks."

"First, this is conveniently located near a T station, so easy access to downtown Boston. Second, it accommodates a family of 5 easily. Third, there is a cute grocery store within a few minutes walk, so you can buy groceries to do simple cooking in the kitchenette. This, combined with good breakfast, saves money while staying in Boston. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to see the sights in Boston!"
