"Baking hot concrete block next door to a demolitions site with noisy heavy machinery working and my windows obscured by thick grime. The air conditioning didn't work and looked as though it was decommissioned long ago. The bathroom taps were difficult to turn off and I was fearful of a flood…. Maintenance generally seemed poor…. Fitting and carpets were pretty much worn out…. Curtains didn’t quite cover the windows to exclude light…. Uncomfortable stay and not cheap. I was glad to leave."

"The hallways and room were nice and clean, but room service was missed on the second day due to staff shortage. A complimentary drink at the bar was offered instead. A nice gesture of sympathy. Regrettably, we missed the free breakfast at the hotel. It was included with our booking. The food offers at the bar were limited during the day before 5pm, so we went out for brunch. The staff was not able to provide us with options to do so out of the hotel. Figured it out on our own."

"The only thing this hotel has in its favour is its location, assuming you are flying from/to GLA! Rooms are small, old and dirty. Fittings are outdated by today’s standards and the staff appear disinterested too…knock this place down please and rebuild something worthy of the location!"

"I had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Glynhill Hotel; the staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't do enough for me. the rooms are beautifully presented and clean (the toilet was a little bit of a squeeze - but I am a big fella) the food was amazing, from the all-you-can-eat breakfast to the restaurant to the room service. the pool was in perfect condition and not too busy, which was a help.
