"We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! The room was well equipped and we had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was outstanding. A great base for travelling around Shropshire- such good value for money. Well done all "

"Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. "Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. "The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . "
