"This was the highlight of our trip! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing! From the minute we arrived we were welcomed, we had the best meal, the fondue was delicious. "Clean room and very quiet beautiful location. However, location is 30-45 minutes outside of Lucerne and transportation is very limited and expensive. Ubers are not frequent in that location so need to reserve ahead of time and only some Ubers will come out that far. Would recommend paying more to stay in town to be accessible to shopping and restaurants. If looking for relaxing location, it is a good choice."

"An incredible spot. We chose to leave the car in town and enjoyed the gondola up. If you stay a night it should be half price. The views were amazing and the gondola stops at the property. Probably the most scenic accommodation ever. Also good food and drink and nice staff. 10/10z"

"We stayed at the chalet across the street from the reception for 2 nights. Worst experience ever. Room is very hot, dark (incandescent bulb lighting which adds to the heat), bathroom smells like cigarettes, floors creak, and you can hear everyone who comes in and out of the place. Pictures of the lodge are very deceiving and combined with the newer, more expensive hotel where the reception is. It is also very challenging to get to if you’re taking the train from Lucerne especially if you have...
