"Nostalgia. I remember going to The Homestead when I was a student back in the 60’s. Well-appointed, comfortable room. Charming graduate touches like the room key, do not disturb pennant, and coffee packets. Love the front porch!"

"The Monday through Wednesday night social hrs were great! We were busy n unfortunately didnt make it but a great concept! Didnt have to pay for washing n dryer was a big plus! Didnt have to find quarters! Room was very clean, no complaints n nicely fit 7 of us! Dont forget to turn on ur ice machine in the freezer, thats ur only ice!"

"Friendly staff, spacious rooms, delicious and cheap hot buffet breakfast, on-site parking and a small shop for snacks. The hotel is located a short walk from Northwestern University’s campus so it wax super convenient for my daughter’s graduation. I cannot say enough about how surprised I was. "

"The hotel is clean and employees very nice and helpful. The parking can be frustrating. The front entrance parking lot is small and doesn't go all the way through. We came to the front but there was no parking and turning around was precarious with other vehicles trying to access main door. Plenty of parking in back but the door is locked so if you haven't checked in yet you will need to walk around the building with bags to get in."
