"Basic kitchen with very little utensils. Open tea bags supplied (very unhygienic). Kettle and Oven were partially broken. Bed side lamps were not working (no place to plugin). Very noisy neighbours (Saturday night). Pillows were rubbish (basically flat). Expedia missed child in the booking and they charged extra CHF 35 per night (in addition to prepaid cost) even though sofa bed was already there. Verdict: Avoid at all cost..."

"Lovely cozy affordable apartment that was clean and well stocked. We come from a rural part of the US so even just the idea of having to ride the bus back and forth to town (or 1 mile walk) seemed a little daunting before we arrived. Once we got there we saw how easy and convenient it was, though. The host provided us with a Lucerne visitor pass by email prior to arrival so we could ride the buses as much as we wanted for free - no need to even swipe a card on the bus, just having it to show if...

"The view was beautiful. There was a strong sewer smell in the shower that was almost unbearable. We loved Luzern and the property is located in an excellent area of the city. Just be prepared for it to be extremely hot (no AC) but that’s common for Europe. The directions said to access the property for the back side but there is an entrance from the lake side as well"

"The property was very well stocked: pots, pans, cutlery, wall plug adapter, umbrellas, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more. The only downside is that the floors do creak, so you hear the people above you. With that said, everyone seems to adhere to the 10pm quiet time so it was not much of a problem. I did not see a parking space so if you’re renting a car I would look further into that. Aside from that, no issues. Very close to the train station for transportation. "

Location was also convenient to grocery stores where we stocked up for items to make breakfast, lunch, and dinners.
