"Breakfast Buffet was pricy - could have gone outside the hotel for a better cost and food. Internet connections kept dropping - do not get any rooms with numbers higher than 220/320/420. Told the front desk but nothing was done about it. Clean room but watch out for the bathrooms glass door which was not very private. Park in the back - closer to lobby. Restaurant staff was very good and attentive. A-Plus to them."

"The hotel was extremely clean and parking was a breeze with a private lot right behind. The only thing I wish they had is a reception area indoors. When traveling with multiple adults, it's nice to be able to get out of the room and drink coffee/read while the other is still waking up. They do have a fabulous covered area outdoors, however, for the warmer months."

"This was our third stay at the Mill Street Inn and it won’t be our last. It’s located a couple of blocks up from Thames Street . . . so close to the “action,” but those couple of blocks bring you to a quiet peaceful spot. One of the things we really like about the Mill Street Inn is having breakfast brought to our room every morning . . . Allows you to have a nice relaxing breakfast in your room before getting ready to go out enjoy Newport."

"Perfect location for a romantic getaway! Everything was in walking distance. We did the Cliff walk, shopped and ate in the downtown area and also took a nice walk around the mansions. We also walked down to the Tennis HOF and the car museum. A little warmer and we would have sat out on the front porch for a quiet moment."

"We arrived after the desk staff were off duty but we received lots of helpful communication about accessing the facility and the room, parking, etc. The room, and the property in general, were really lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The only concern was some pet dander on the sitting room sofa that prompted a mild allergic reaction for us."

"This hotel is promoted as “Exceptional,” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The entire experience was incredibly misleading and frustrating from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, things were off, we were even given the wrong room number at check-in, which set the tone for the lack of organization and attention to detail. The property itself looked nothing like the beautiful, well-kept images online. Instead, it was dingy and outdated, feeling more like a run-down dorm than...

"Rooms are a bit “dated” but still had everything we needed: lots of space, and a beautiful view of the ocean! We appreciated 2 bathrooms also. Kitchen well equipped and beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend and /or stay here again!! We loved it!"

"The room had no closet or anywhere to hang a coat. No hooks by the door or anything. The shower nozzle was loose and we couldn't get the rain shower to work. However, we loved the tub with jets, and the location was nice."
