Inside feels outdated and seems a little dark/gloomy with gray hallways and one elevator at far end of hotel (opposite far end from check in desk & past many rooms) which felt very uncomfortable walking that far to check in with young children. "Great location and nice old colonial style home, however upkeep of the Inn needs some work. A lot of pealing paint and loose floor boards. The Inn Keepers office looks like a trash pile through the windows. There was confusion with our check-in, provided wrong room. Thanks to the staff who noticed the error early. "Good location, friendly staff and very clean. However, check in was 4:00 and we didn’t get into our rooms until after 5:00. The front desk staff was very apologetic but obviously short on cleaning staff to prepare rooms. They did provide coupons towards breakfast but after we asked if they would compensate us for the late check in. Also, we were charged a $57 per room resort fee ( we had 3 rooms) but the pool was closed and the shuttle only ran on Sunday. We only got in our room at 5:00...
