"Booked for a short one night stay, only a short walk to the tram stop which is then a 5 minute ride to the airport and 15-20 minutes to the city centre. Reception staff were very efficient and helpful upon check in. Room was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need, bed linen was crisp and towels fluffy, complementary bottled water, shampoo, soap and shower gel. "Beautiful condition of hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Location was cool but long walks into Florence center but okay to beat the congestion of the city center trade off. The area directly outside the hotel gate was very sketchy especially if you are traveling solo. Once in the very narrow entrance of the property, you feel safe. "

The hotel is a short walk from the Duomo and within walking distance of all major sites. "The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Really lovely hotel in a great location not far from the train station and other main sights. Clean and decent sized modern room and bathroom, with among other things a fridge and air conditioning (although we struggled to work this the first night). Helpful and friendly staff and amazing breakfast, buffet style. Only small downside, we had a room overlooking the road - which was a little noisy but this did not detract from a lovely stay and would happily go back for another stay."

"I dont believe the air is turned on until May in Italy atleast thats what we were told in Balogna. It was mid April faily warm day and room didn't seem to be too warm. The room was very clean and staff was helpful. Pretty decent breakfast. We ran out of toilet paper and the cleaning people must not have noticed when cleaning our room.
