"El hotel es de película. Nos encantó quedarnos en familia aquí. Lástima que llovía y no pudimos recorrer todas las habitaciones (avión, tren, casa hobitt). Nos quedamos en el barco y era muuuy cómodo, más de lo que uno esperaría de un barco adaptado a hotel. Muy original todo, bien puesto, bien atendido. Y divertido! Queda a 2 minutos de las cuevas de Waitomo, y tienen información sobre otros lugares de la zona para visitar y actividades para hacer."

"Absolutely loved it ! The view was awesome best thing to way up to and awesome sunrise/sunsets.Awesome place warm and cosy we stayed up stairs not sure what down stairs would be like for heat Dog friendly and my dog loved it so much, easy beach access down a lovely bushy walkThe only thing that was an inconvenience was having no tea towels so we had to wait for the dishes to drip dry"

"The home was fully resourced, accommodating, warm and welcoming. Very whanau orientated, plenty of space, books and games for tamariki, spacious warm rooms and the additional blessing of a kent fire.Walk across the road to the local tavern to dine and wine, A foot stroll to the beautiful awa, 5 min drive to Mokau along the scenic moana, two minutes to the gas station and store and some of the wonderful historic icons eg post office and the bowling lawn a skip and a jump away.NO FAULTS absolutely...

"Amazing views, the host was incredibly welcoming and happy to have a chat. The farm was beautiful and the walk to the pond was pure magic. Our kids loved the loft beds and the little lambs running around. Small touches everywhere with extra blankets and hot water bottles. Only wish we stayed longer to enjoy it a little more. "

"I have mixed emotions about giving a great review for this place cause I don't want anyone else to know about it so that we can just stay whenever we want. But since this isn't really fair this is one of the better places that I've stayed at and everything we wanted was at our fingertips the only thing missing was a microwave but other than that we're looking forward to our next trip there. "The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia...

"This was a perfect location for us to stay for the Kinloch Offroad Challenge. Only 5 minutes walk from the start/finish. We stayed for 7 nights and spent time checking out Taupo while there. So glad we did this, as Kinloch has so much character and it was easy to travel the 20 min drive into Taupo for the touristy things we did in town and such a relaxing place to come back to. Out of Auckland, Wellington and Rotarua this was the highlight of our 3 week trip."
