"If you are going to visit the glow worms in the caves, this is the best place to stay as you can get to see your own personal glow worms at the sink hole a couple of minutes walk from your bed! A fantastic addition to the overall experience! There are also other things to see on the farm. Angus is a smashing host who loves to share!"

"My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches. "From the moment we drove in Kawhia bay and stepped onto the balcony we were in heavon! The Bach had everything we needed, we were able to bbq every night, the kitchen was well equipped, large fridge to stock our food and drinks (note there are no local shops so you need to bring what you need - closet general store is 15 min drive).
