"We enjoyed the convenience of Hotel Ylem’s location to dining and groceries. The room is a good size, but it would be nicer to also have an easy chair for seating. The TV required our fiddling to get it to work everyday even after maintenance looked into it. We enjoyed the available breakfast options. "

"The place itself was nice. The area not so much. Most importantly I blame Expedia because you had this designated as a Downtown hotel- this was not downtown. It was a mile or so from downtown and the walk there was through a rough neighborhood. "

"From check in to check out, we had an amazing experience here. Located in a very convenient location in the heart of Austin, the property and the room itself was clean, felt safe with the security system they have in place, and every staff member we encountered were all friendly. Would love to stay again on our next visit and would give them a 10/10."

"Loved the aesthetic of the hotel and room. The staff were super friendly and we felt safe during our stay. My only complaint was that the room wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival. There was food scattered near the sofa. Aside from that, a great stay and will be staying again. "

"This is our 2nd stay at a Placemakr facility and both have been excellent locations. San Antonio is walking distance to many things downtown (Market, historic buildings, etc). The staff at this location are friendly, helpful, and the apartments are very well maintained and quiet. This is a great brand!"
