"You can’t use the property as the bugs are too much. It says that there is a fire pit, but you are asked not to use it. Oor fridge died the first night and was replaced within 24 hours. Great communication with the owner. Some spices were empty. The decor was nice, but the furniture was not very comfortable and some pieces were in need of repair. Water stains in the bathroom. Lots of towels."

"Location was perfect for getting away from the busy city life. Property was very clean, well maintained and the owners were extremely friendly with good communication. The location was perfect for having a nice middle ground to south and west Nova Scotia. Clean beautiful and super private."

"Booked this site for my daughters Grade 12 graduation gift since she loves swimming and a quiet cottage.Everything was just as advertised. Scenery is just breathtaking. Relaxing for swimmers and non swimmers. Kayaks, water boards and row boat were available to use from a very accessible dock and small rock beach. The town of Shelburne is a short distance away (just over 20mins) for groceries and quite a few eat in restaurants. Wifi was good and plenty of board games to play. The heat pump was...

"This is a really nice "old fashioned" hotel with remodeled rooms. Decor was very nice, bed was comfortable, and TV was huge. It still seems to be a work in progress, though, with a DYI feel to some of the maintenance. For instance, huge microwave is on a very wobbly shelf that seems sure to fail at one point. No place to put soap of washcloth in shower expect floor - and no grab bar to hold onto when bending down to get them. No elevator, either, so be prepared to carry everything up one or two...
