"This hotel is in a very strategic location where a lot of expats hang out in the restaurants nearby it is fairly soundproof so the mosque noise doesn't really bother you if you're a decent sleeper unless you're sitting outside on your balcony which is kind of nice it's very pretty it's not perfect by any means of course no hotel is the bed was okay the room service was really good really cheap and again strategic location I would give it a 7.5 out of 10"

"Location is fantastic, right smack at Jl Malioboro, 10-min walk from the train station, 15-min walk to Mbah Satinem (you gotta eat her breakfast! truly good, not just for the sentimental reasons). We stayed for 5-nites and got a few check-out gifts, which I have never received from any hotels that I've stayed at (nada from Westin, Marriott, Hilton, Ritz, ever!). "A very nice hotel and great value. Located a bit outside the old city, but easy enough to navigate, and the surrounding neighborhood is quite nice. The staff are tremendously friendly and helpful, especially Catur, one of the sales managers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. "Excellent room and services and excellent staff. Reception staff Tamara was very accommodative of our needs and she even arrange a car with driver for us for a 12 hour trip starting early morning. The staff at the restaurant and the roof top bar were excellent too and provided us our choice of food that were not in the menu. I highly recommend this hotel."
