"I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life"

"The beds were not the most comfortable. The pillows had zero neck support. And although they say there is a designated smoking area there were folks smoking where they shouldn’t and nobody stopped them. Those are my only complaints. The food was wonderful! Especially the vegetarian and vegan options. Well I can only speak on that because I am a vegetarian."

"Super convenient. Ten minutes walk, some of it is unprotected. We had two rooms, one triple. Both nice and spacious. Kettle in the room. Good firm bed. Breakfast starts at 4 am, we did not have any. Highly recommended."

"Stayed here twice and I was able to view the Aurora right outside the hotel. Perfect spot to view Aurora.also very close to the Earth lagoon."

"This is the stay of a lifetime (especially since it is connected to the neighboring Blue Lagoon)—and it reflects a corresponding price tag. Sticker shock aside, they have thought of every manner to pamper guests and make them feel at home (and willing to part with more cash in purchasing their various products). The staff are very well trained in the art of hospitality and will go out of their way to be of assistance. This may not be an every few year stay but it is certainly is worth a checking...

"A clean double room with a single bed, but it’s a bit rough around the edges (skirting boards). It’s fine for one night when arriving from the airport or before setting off again, but no more than that – with the noise of planes flying overhead regularly, your sleep is interrupted, so it’s not a very restful night. The big plus point is the breakfast, which is very varied and plentiful; the dedicated breakfast room is really nice."
