Unfortunately our room had a very weird and strong smell...

"I arrived in the morning and the host was very accommodating. The room was very cozy and clean as well as the bathrooms and shared areas. I was very comfortable with my stay and the view of the northern lights was right outside the cottage. I would definitely stay here again!"

Only notes are the very dim lighting everywhere and there is no chain or bar lock on the room doors, just a turn lock that is hard to tell when its engaged. Would recommend adding for guests peace of mind."

"Parking was easy and plentiful. There were great ocean views and I loved the traditional Icelandic Fishing Village Vibe. The hot tub and hot water from the shower were extremely hot. They also had a strong sulfur smell due to nearby geothermal activity. Bottom line - I would stay here again and recommend it to others"

"The best thing is it’s close to the airport and the blue lagoon. As we only had less then a day of layover, this place is very near the blue lagoon where we planned to spend a few hours of relaxation before flying back home."

"We are return customers from 3 years ago. Seems as if the property is ran differently than previous. Everything was pretty standard for a 1 night stay. My only complaint was the provided breakfast. We arrived at their breakfast at 7:30am. They started serving at 7am. By 7:30, the staff had alerted us they were mostly out of food which was apparent. No dishes either. I understand they can get busy, but poor planning led to this. All of the guests didn’t walk in from the street. They were booked...
