"This cabin was absolutely perfect for my getaway! It’s tucked away in a peaceful wooded area in New Marshfield, giving me that true “middle of nature” feeling while still being close enough to enjoy both Hocking Hills and Athens. The location couldn’t be better — I spent one day hiking at Old Man’s Cave and could easily spend another exploring the shops and restaurants in Athens.The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything I needed. The hot tub is amazing...

"The cabin was spacious but cozy, and it was a private get away that allowed our family to have a nice relaxing week. We enjoyed the hot tub, having a fire outside and playing games together. The covered pool was a hit with the kids every day we were there. We also enjoyed the short drive to Hocking hills to do some hocking and to do some fishing. The kitchen is well stocked which allowed us to have family meals together. Communication with Ryan was amazing and we had a last minute change that...

"Host was very helpful cabin was very clean. The only downfall was the pans cooking skillet/sauce pans the Teflon was scraped off and scratched up. We didn't feel comfortable using them so we chose to go buy a couple pans to use and brought them home. It would have been nice to know prior to booking thatvthe fireplace was out of order. (Maybe a complimentary bundle of firewood would be nice for the inconvenience or a discounted rate). Over all we really enjoyed the setting and privacy. "

"Kick Back Cabin was in a great location in the woods, private & had lots of great amenities including being pet friendly. It was very clean & the hot tub was crystal clear & clean. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights as well. The only downside was the couch wasn't very comfortable & the decor could use a few updates. The door handle to the front door should also be replaced.I would definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you have a dog! Fenced in area & fenced in deck area - both w/ doggy...
