"Concerned about the smell of water and feel when showering. Owner said its well but i feel it needs to be check and treated. They did respond saying its country living. But house i own in Poconos is checked and treated and that is well water. They did leave drinking water. House is cute. Basement steps are steep not for an elderly person. "

"We had an amazing stay here. The house and basement is huge. There is basically an apartment downstairs. Everything was decorated beautifully. The lawn and landscaping is so beautiful. The hosts were very responsive. We came from out of state to visit family and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very conveniently located to town as well. "

"A quiet little cabin just off the road. A good retreat from daily life with nice folks to greet you when you get there. Thanks to Dave for the hospitality and showing us around the place. "

"Very Victorian main areas of house. Nicely modernized kitchen and bathrooms. Washer dryer and fully fenced back yard. The kitchen is large but not fully equipped for cooking. Limited pots pans and cookware. Overall a fun place to stay within the popular Harmer area."

"I could not have found a more perfect property in which to stay. The house is simply beautiful and the location cannot be beat! We spent many mornings and evenings on the large porch overlooking the gazebo and river in the distance. The house and owners provided everything we needed and could've wanted, the beds and sitting areas were comfortable and the main part of town was so close. I can't wait to return!"

"This is our fourth year, fourth stay at the cabin. We had another great time, nice and quiet, and peaceful!"

"Beautiful cabin. Other cabins are fairly close by but strategically placed privacy fences allow for open feel while providing privacy. Drawbacks are: water pressure was hit and miss. One time it would be great but wait a minute and it would drop, then fluctuate. Also hot water did not allow for a 5 minute, warm shower the first night. Second night was slightly better with the hot water holding out for a 10 minute slightly warmer shower. Even with the water difficulties we would stay again. The...
