"Clean hotel with nice friendly staff, clean bathrooms, the rooms need an upgrade though. The hotel is situated in an old building right in the middle of downtown Cairo which is a perfect location. The continental breakfast was poor. The elevator is old and unreliable. A good stay for the price."

But honestly for a night or a transit, I think this is the best option in Cairo and I’ve been flying there for work for past 10 years (so I know it can be really great or utterly decrepit!). The rooms are clean, comfortable, have all you need. The staff is efficient and do their jobs. Housekeeping was a joy - MARWA WAS THE BEST AND WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR EVERYTHING!
