"The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient so there was always food available. The room was clean but the bathroom can use an update as the plumbing was making noises. Overall we did like the hotel and would stay again."

"Its with heavy heart, at times you leave reviews that are harsh , but you hope balanced. The hotel is very pretty and in a nice settings. Checking in very fast and efficient with good service. The room was very nice and bathroom clean. We used the bar, which was okay. The only issue was the bed and the pillows . This is a matter of choice, however very uncomfortable. The price I had was very good that made the issue less of an issue."

"We only stayed one night here before heading for our cruise, but location was great and room had everything we needed and very comfortable. The only thing to me tion is thr parking. After booking, we received an email to confirm a parking space had been reserved for us. However when we arrived, we were charge £13 for it, which was not communicated. Also parking is at the rear of the hotel and can be difficult to manoeuvre as quite tight on space."

"The hotel staff at the reception were very helpful and so welcoming. However there was one member of staff in the laundry room who came across like she couldn’t be bothered helping when I asked her for a clean towel for the swimming pool area because the one she pointed me towards smelt really damp so I wanted a clean one and she just ignored me so I helped myself. "The staff and rooms are very good. The location is great for cruises and the train station. The rooms need AC. Even though it was not that hot in Southampton, it was very humid. The room just felt muggy. The fan and very small window opening was not enough to air the room out."
