"Not a lot of hotel options in the area. The hotel is dated and no front desk service after 6pm so don’t lose your key! The Hotel is in a great location in a wonderful town on a lake. The price good too. If your going to Amersee and Herrshing this is a perfect location with a good enough room. It’s not bad in anyway just not a big city Hotel with amenities. A country hotel located in the best part of the country town on the lake. We would stay there again for sure!"

From the hotel, we were able to hike around the area, including a trek up to the Andechs brewery, through a beautiful, wooden area and over to the lake. We loved the hotel and the town. "

"Check in was a bit confusing. We weren’t given clear direction of the actual building you were staying in or how to get into it. Additionally, they were stairs to get up to our unit which we weren’t aware of, and was difficult with our luggage. But the unit itself was absolutely beautiful and would recommend."

"Die Dachwohnung ist toll. Check in und Lage der Wohnung ist ebenfalls super. Man ist sehr schnell zu Fuß am Ammersee und ist auch öffentlich gut angebunden. Wenn man allzu groß ist, sind aufgrund der Dachschrägen ein paar Einschränkungen möglich, z.B. ist Duschen im Stehen nicht möglich - dafür kann man dann aber in der Badewanne ein Bad nehmen. "

"Nous sommes arrivés à 4 adultes, à vélo (musculaires, non électriques). Nous avons été assez dépités que le code d’ouverture de la porte ne fonctionne pas. Il nous faudra une bonne heure et de nombreux coups de fil pour obtenir un code fonctionnel. Un gentil voisin nous a beaucoup aidés, sachant que notre allemand est assez basique.
