"We reached hotel and we have been told that the lift is working and after carrying our trolley bags to a different building through a tunnel , we got to know that the lift has not been repaired. We had to carry our suitcase to the top 2nd floor via stairs and no support was provided to provide accommodation in the building near to reception. "This property does not look like how it does in the pictures. It was extremely ran down. We had an apartment for 4 days and our room was tidied once. The windows opened all the way up- wasn't sure how safe that made me feel knowing i had to open them to stay cool and anyone could climb in. No fan in the room. carpet hasn't been updated in 30+ years and it's caked in dirt. which stunk. and all cooking appliances and kettle were locked up in our room. "Das Hotel liegt schön an einem kleinen See, den man allerdings nur sieht, wenn man auf der Terrasse frühstückt. Das Hotel ist innen sehr schön und modern gestaltet. Das Economy Zimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig, die anderen Kategorien sehen jedoch auf den Bildern deutlich besser aus. Das Frühstück ist gut - es ist für jeden etwas dabei."

"Fantastic hotel and location. We went in the summer so not skiing but this place (Garmish) and the hotel Riessersee was out trip's highlight. Amazing service from everyone there. Restaurant, bar, reception, everyone was helpful and friendly. "
