"What a lovely room. A bed you could sink into, even though my husband prefers a firmer bed I thought it was great. Loved the Character of the place so much history. Menu looked good but unfortunately we weren’t there to eat an evening meal. Ooh! but having stayed in many hotels this had the best and most perfectly cooked English Breakfast I have ever had. "The hosts were great but the rooms were like staying in a hostel. The heating for the room was only put on when we arrived so it was freezing everywhere. The towels were so hard. The curtains had been trimmed with scissors very badly and the window handle fell off when I tried to open it. The beds were comfortable though. "

"booked this property specifically because the listing said it had an oven, which was important as I was travelling for a strongman competition and had planned my meals around being able to cook. When we arrived, there was no oven, which completely disrupted my food prep and meant I had to change plans at extra cost. The stay was also badly affected by very loud roadworks starting after midnight, including a concrete saw and jackhammer, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. I appreciate...
