"We rent someplace in the Winter area every year in October for a weeklong grouse hunt. This cabin was by far our favorite. It was exceptionally cleaned, well kept, well stocked, and well laid out. Chris was a fantastic and accommodating host and made sure everything was set for our arrival. I would highly recommend this property for any group. It is a great combination of multiple comfortable living spaces in a peaceful quiet setting."

"Very clean, well appointed, plenty of soaps and bathroom products if you've forgotten anything, coffe and sugar, salt and pepper, updated kitchen! Beautiful quiet area with the lake across the street. I enjoyed watching the Bald Eagles and listening to the loons. (First weekend of October) Host was very helpful and responsive."

"This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!"

"This is the second time we stayed at Sunrise Pines, Chitek Wisconsin. The lake view is really beautiful as were the amenities. The home had all the necessities needed for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property."

"This secluded home on a remote lake was very peaceful. This place is ultra clean, very spacious, and ideal for a family or friends. We appreciated the ‘no pet’ rule as both of us are sensitive. It’s close to Rice Lake for restaurants and local events there. Carrie also decorated this place with a simple but elegant understated beauty, so it was easy to maintain for us.
