"Reverse cycle a/c / heater was ineffective; tv did not work - repeatedly switched off after about 2 minutes; internet did not work and reception seemed disinterested in resolving; lack of personal products - shower cap, toilet rolls etc."

"Rooms were spacious and clean and the king bed was comfortable. Good amenities in the room including toaster and espresso coffee machine."

"Orchard Cottage was a lovely stay- it was bright and airy. The cottage has two generous sized bedrooms and living area plus a large bathroom with 2 showers and spa. The grounds are amazing to walk around. And it is not too far from Castlemaine."

"A charming house in the middle of nowhere. Loved listening to the birds and watching the sheep, rabbits and ducks from the veranda. Fireplace heats though the whole place. We will be back"

"After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great...

"Lovely stone building, private with enjoyable outlook."

"It was very nice accomodation."

"Studio is a very attractive stone and brick dwelling. What a pleasure to arrive via a sloping curved driveway through a lovely bushy block. All the amenities I needed were inside the comfortable studio, including a very comfortable bed, and a lovely warm shower. Richard and Melissa were warm, friendly helpful hosts. Very generous check in and check out times. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you Richard and Melissa."

"Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with this property. On arrival, the access code provided was incorrect, leaving us unable to enter until we received a return call with the correct details.Once inside, we noticed an unpleasant smell and numerous flies. The property’s presentation also did not live up to the impression given by the advertised photos. When we raised our concerns and requested a refund, it was declined. The response referred to the booking terms and the fact that the...

"The house is lovely and very clean, and there were lots of thoughtful and generous touches throughout, like the scones Marie made for us and the fact that Neal put the fire on for us before we arrived. Neal and Marie were very communicative hosts, and shared lots of recommendations etc. with us. The beds are also super comfortable and warm. We enjoyed a really cosy stay - it was lovely in early winter."

"Marnie & Dale were lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of wood for the cosy fire. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and everything worked.Repairs to the arm chair, electric heater and mats would be beneficial for safety reasons. The coffee and cake van was a bonus thanks to Gill, Roy and Fleur and Marnie’s yummy homemade cakes. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.A little bit further out from town than stated on the website (extra 6klms) and google...

"Great communication from the hosts, Lisa and Jeremy. Fantastic little tiny home and location. Definitely recommend staying there for a quiet getaway."

"Excellent property for a couple. Could not fault the host. All areas of the property were spotless."

"This barn stay was absolutely charming. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with great attention to detail. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. A perfect little escape — highly recommend.I died & went to heaven when I saw the beautiful stables. "

"Everything we hoped for from a guesthouse. Friendly welcome. Nice to come down for breakfast and meet other guests and made feel welcome. Nice clean room. A delightful stay and would recommend it."

"We had a lovely one-night stay at the cabin. While the price was quite steep for a single night, there were plenty of amenities that made the stay feel worthwhile. Our favourites were definitely the hot tub and sauna, absolutely perfect for a winter getaway! The cabin felt very private and peaceful facing the woods, while still being close enough to the hosts if we needed anything. Richard was superb with communication and always replied very quickly. The fireplace was also a new experience for us...
