"Staff friendly and room clean"

"Close enough to grinnell college. The fridge was making a lot of noise had tv issue . Staff fixed the issue. No phones in the room to call front desk. Breakfast room was small so since a lot of people staying it was crowded . For the price I paid it is what it is. If you are disabled make sure u don’t get a room in second floor . Because no elevator at this location"

"The property was quiet, clean and convenient. Staff was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Will stay again for sure. Thank you."

"The hotel was run down and in poor repair. It also appeared understaffed since the same employee appeared to be on staff the entire stay. The back door was not secured and propped open. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. We had to change rooms from a kitchenette to a standard double because of a malfunctioning sink drain. When we tried to check out we were unable to get a receipt because the only person on staff did not have access to the computer. Not in keeping with the standards of...

"If I could rate this place a zero I would. Absolutely horrible experience at this horrible hotel and I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. We found actual bed bugs in our room and have pictures to prove it. This was not a suspicion or misunderstanding; there were bed bugs in the room, and the room itself was dirty and poorly maintained. We were there for less than 5 hours before we had to leave because we were not going to risk staying in a room with bed bugs. What makes this even...

"I accidentally put in the wrong date to stay overnight in expedia and the manager would not let me stay the night we were supposed to. I wanted a refund but knew I probably would not get one, I should have gotten to stay the night we were supposed to. I made a mistake but apparently he never does. I will definitely tell everyone to never stay at a super 8."

"The staff was friendly but the property needs a lot of updates."

"Quiet location that suited our needs. Clean facility, plenty of amenities."

"Hotel did not have kitchen, fridge, coffee maker, glasses, no vending machine, no pool, no breakfast, floor was poorly laid had waves and bubbles in it like walking in a kids bouncy house, wall paper poorly laid. It had nothing that was listed in the listing on Expedia for this hotel."

"The best place to say in Newton. Comfortable and roomy apartment, easy parking, and walking access to downtown. The bed is comfortable and it has a decent shower."

"Beautiful property, Close to Newton Iowa."

"Terrible experience all around."
